This assignment's theme was Ritual. As a person of Anishnaabe, I decided to go with the bear walk also known as skin walkers (in sci-fi, shape shifter). There are three layers, back grey, pink middle, and black foreground. This is my final design rendering. I started with a small sketch after brainstorming ideas. I knew what elements I wanted in the design. The animals and parts inside the middle are symbolic and have personal meaning. Opacity was added to layers to mimic the applications of ink in the screen-printing process.
