We were asked to design an album cover of a music genre compilation. I chose trance anthems of 2022 heavily influenced by Armin Van Buuren. I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to complete this design. I used the mockup our professor provided to finish this design. I used images from Adobe Stock and compiled the cd cover and booklet collection. The typeface pairing was based on round letterforms with sharp edges and a futuristic vibe to go with the edges of the elements in the design. July 2022
Project 3 involved creating a design for Hershey's chocolate bars. I chose to create a high end chocolate bar with sweeping lines and design uniformity. It all started with design and type exploration with the first four options. Narrowed the design and then came up with 3 final groupings. Narrowed it down to the final design at the top.
Front and backs were created with information and parameters given by professor. I used Adobe Dimension for chocolate bar box mockup, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Pixologic ZBrush for satin backgrounds. July 2022
This is my final design for project 2. I used Adobe Dimension to create mockup with peonies (purchased floral pack) to add floral accents to capture the style for a wedding at the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum. I used Illustrator for type design and pulled it all together to finish off in Photoshop. Project 2 involved creating a wedding suite. It started with the wedding invitation and then with the typefaces then created the rsvp, details, and thank you cards.
This was a script exercise that I turned into a logo.
For project 1 we were asked to create a typeface spec poster. I was given the Garamond typeface to represent on my poster. I decided to recreate an illustrated manuscript page that would represent the artwork during the 1500's in book publication and printing. I included all the elements that we were required to have on our posters. I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to complete the design. July 2022
